Breakdowns, bent drums, and sloppy dumping slow a job site down fast. The Mud Hog MH12 concrete mixer is built for contractors who need a mixer that shows up and works. It’s a heavy duty mixer for mortar, grout, and concrete on construction sites where downtime costs money. With a 3 to 4 bag, large capacity drum and a hydraulic dump height up to 49 inches, it fits everything from a residential project to a large construction site.

Power comes standard from an 11.7 hp Honda engine with electric start, using a gasoline engine setup many contractors already trust. For crews that need different power, electric motor, or diesel model options are part of the MH12 lineup. The durable steel drum construction takes real abuse, and the bearings are set 1-1/2″ from the drum to keep material out and ensure long use. A multi-position drum lock gives better control during mixing and discharge, and the drum layout supports easy cleaning so you’re not chiseling dried mortar off your equipment before the next job.

MH12 FAQs

The MH12 has a 12 cubic foot (12 cu.ft. / 0.34 m³) drum, rated at 3 to 4 bag capacity (bag estimate based on 80 lb. bags).

This heavy duty mixer is designed for mortar, grout, and concrete, and it will mix up to 3/4″ aggregate for concrete work that includes stone.

The MH12’s hydraulic dump discharges up to 49 inches high, which helps on job sites where you need to load into higher staging or into tubs without extra lifting.

The MH12 comes standard with an 11.7 HP Honda gas engine. Additional configurations, including 10 HP electric motor options (1PH/230V and 3PH/230V or 3PH/460V) plus a 9.5 HP Kubota diesel engine option, based on availability.

EZG lists 3/8″ drum end and 1/4″ drum wrap thickness, with a steel drum thickness shown as 1/4″ in the specs table. Overall dimensions are 82″ x 45″ x 49″ (length x width x height).
